Minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held in
the Balderton Village Centre on Monday March 12th 2007 at 10.00am

APOLOGIES were received from Councillor Allsopp.

0034 Planning Application
The following planning application was considered and approved subject to any
comments detailed below:
0232 Porch extension 5 Kingsway
The following applications were considered and objected to with the comments
detailed below:
0207 First floor extension 2 Orchard Way
Members requested that the District Council Planning Department hold a site
meeting to assess the adverse impact upon the neighbouring property which will
suffer loss of privacy and daylight to the back garden. If planning permission
is granted then the overlooking windows should be high level only or obscured
glass.
0242 Extension for five bedrooms, raise roof pitch Byron, London Road
The committee re-stated a previous recommendation for an earlier planning
application submitted for this property that the extension should not include
future first floor development. This application includes this and was refused
as it would change the aspect of the original property completely and would have
an adverse affect upon neighbouring properties.
0035 Planning Decisions
The following planning applications have received conditional approval and were
noted:

1837 Twenty five 1, 2 & 3 bed dwellings Land at Balderton Hospital
0036 Appeal
It was noted that an appeal has been lodged with the Planning Inspectorate
against a
planning refusal for a dwelling on to the rear of 19 Browning Road.
