There are eighteen elected members of Balderton Parish Council who have collective responsibility for local council matters. Balderton is one of the largest villages in Nottinghamshire, and is still growing - a large development of some 1100 houses at “Warwick Park” on the former Balderton Hospital site is presently underway. The village has a large range of amenities - there is a leisure centre, library, and numerous shops to cater for most requirements.
