Dogs On Lead at Balderton Lake - No Exceptions

Our beautiful lake and the surrounding green space are enjoyed by walkers, families, wildlife enthusiasts and dog owners alike. To ensure everyone can enjoy the area safely and comfortably, ALL dogs must be kept on a physical lead at all times.

The rules are clearly signposted around the lake, and this requirement applies to every dog, at all times, with NO EXCEPTIONS.

We know many owners have friendly, well-trained dogs, and the vast majority follow the rules responsibly. However, the requirement to use a lead is there for the safety and comfort of all visitors, as well as to help protect the wildlife that calls the lake home.
