- Why don’t you attend and observe the Parish Council’s next meeting on Wednesday 25th February 2026 at 7pm
- or come along to the Councillor Meet and Greet on Saturday 28th February 2026 from 10am until 12pm

There are several qualifying and disqualifying conditions so before you apply, please contact the Elections Office at Newark & Sherwood District Council on 01636 650000 or email: voting@newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk
To apply, please submit a letter/email of interest, outlining your skills and experience to the Locum Clerk.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 15th March 2026 by 11.59pm
Co-option applications will be considered by the Parish Council at its meeting on 25th March 2026 where you will be invited to attend and speak to your application before Council votes on your appointment.
